Trying out a different shaped stone and a novel mount. A rectangular octagon cut aquamarine stone held between two plates with groves filed in them and a ‘v’ channel for the bottom to sit in. Between the 3 groves, they hold the stone nicely. A delicate ring which has proved to be a favourite everyday ring. Nice to get back into jewelry making after a little time off doing other projects.
