So the challenge here was to turn a wooden bowl from common old plywood, with the added difficulty of angling the slices for a more interesting effect. first cut circles, then slice some in half to get the ends angled, improvise a press to glue them all together. Then turn very carefully so as not to over stress any of the glue layers. Filled in a few voids which appeared with slivers of wood, cand, varnish, polish. Worked out really well. it seems to change shape depending on the angle you look at it. It has a very light weight feel.
